Yes. We install customer-supplied equipment regularly, particularly for owners who caught a good price on a chartplotter online or wanted a specific model. As long as the equipment is appropriate for the boat and comes with the required mounting hardware and cables, we handle the install. For customer-supplied equipment, we verify compatibility with existing electronics before starting the install so there are no surprises.
Do all marine electronics brands work together?
Not fully. Modern marine electronics use NMEA 2000 networking as a common protocol, which allows basic sharing of data across brands like GPS position, engine data, and wind information. What kind of stereo is best for a boat?

Can you install underwater lights on any boat?
In most cases, yes. Underwater LED lights install through the transom or hull below the waterline, which requires drilling through the hull. That means the boat needs to accommodate the hardware without compromising structural integrity, and the install needs to be done with proper sealing to prevent leaks. We inspect the transom or hull area before quoting an underwater light install, and we recommend against underwater lights on boats where the mounting location would compromise the hull.
How long does a Power-Pole installation take?
